Wie alte HEM Daten auf neuen PC bekommen?

Hi!

Ich krieg in den nächsten Tagen meinen neuen Laptop. Ganz wichtig für mich ist dabei, dass ich HEM nahtlos weiterzocken kann.

Was muss ich tun, dass ich ned bei null anfangen muss? Handhistories werden bei mir lt Stars-Software nur für die letzten 30 Tage gespeichert. Ich brauche aber unbedingt meine ganzen Daten seit April dJ.

Kann ich einfach HEM auf neuem PC installieren, von Stars alle HHs anfordern und diese dann auf neuem PC einspielen?

Oder gibts da ne andere Option und ich bin einfach blind?

Ich wette da gibs ne Möglichkeit deine Datenbank zu kopieren/exportieren.. Ich würd mal Rock per pm fragen, der hat auch HEM und ist denk ich auch so ganz fit in so nen PC sachen.

Sofern du bei HEM in den Auto-Import-Optionen ein Archive-Folder angegeben hast, speichert er die HH-Files, nachdem er diese importiert hab, dort ab. Diese kannst du dann auf dem neuen PC wieder einlesen bzw. eigentlich funktioniert das automatisch. Wobei ich nicht weiß, ob dies vollständig funzt.....

Backing up your database

To backup your database, do the following:

1) In your desktop, navigate to Start > All Programs > PostgreSQL 8.x > pgAdmin III.

Similarily, you can navigate to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\bin\ and clicking on the elephant icon called pgAdmin3.exe.

The pgAdmin III screen should pop up.



2) Double click on PostgreSQL Database Server 8.x in the object browser field. You may be prompted for your password.

3) Enter your password if prompted. This is your password that you used when setting up PostgreSQL. Upon successful authentication, you will see the properties tab populate as shown in the screenshot below:


4) Expand the Databases folder and select the applicable database (HoldemManager by default).

Note: You may see a popup window about database encoding and if so, click on don’t show this tip again and click on OK.

5) Right click on the database you selected and choose Backup. A Backup Database dialog will pop up.



6) In the Filename field, click on the ellipsis button and choose a name and location where you want to save it to.

Note: Click on Browse Folders to select a location.

7) Click on OK.

Note: Leave all the default settings as they are. Remember the location as this is where you'll need to restore it from.

The selected database will now begin backing up. While it's backing up, it may become unresponsive. You will know it's finished when the OK button, which is greyed out during backing up, changes to Done.

8) Click Done.

The selected database has now been backed up.

Restoring Your Database
To restore your database, do the following

1) In your desktop, navigate to Start > All Programs > PostgreSQL 8.x > pgAdmin III.

Similarily, you can navigate to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\bin\ and clicking on the elephant icon called pgAdmin3.exe.

The pgAdmin III screen should pop up.

4) In pgAdmin, click on Edit > New Object > New Database. A New Database dialog will pop up.



5) In the Properties tab, enter a new name and leave everything else as default. Click OK.

6) In pgAdmin III, xpand the Databases folder and select the new database, right click and select restore. A Restore Database dialog will pop up.



7) In the Filename field, click on the ellipsis button and go to the location where the backup file is located and click Open.

8) Leave all the default settings as is and click OK.

9) The restoring process might end with an error, just click cancel and do not click Ok to restore again.

The selected database is now restored.

You may also want to export your hands using the Database Management Console first as a precautionary measure in case there are any problems restoring the database. This can be a common problem, so this is highly advisable.
