David Einhorn has just told Cardplayer.com that he has pledged all of his tournament winnings for the Main Event to charity. Einhorn has decided to give whatever he makes in this tournament directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.


Einhorn ist im Moment mit knapp 7.000.000 Chips auf Platz 3 des Main Events der World Series of Poker. Bei verbleibenden 27 Spielern sollte für ihn ein Platz unter den ersten 12 möglich sein, damit wäre sein Spendenbetrag 7-stellig.
Sollte er das Turnier sogar gewinnen gehen 12,5 mio US-Dollar an die Michael J. Fox Stiftung. Eine schöne Geste von David Einhorn, der in seinem Leben bis jetzt insgesamt erst 7.000 $ bei Pokerturnieren erspielt hat.
